Time: 7:55pm - Wednesday.
Mission: Smuggle myself into Lakeside Memorial Hospital.
Obstacles:
My bedtime was 8:00pm.
Visiting hours end at 8:00pm.
No children under 12 allowed at the Hospital.
Elevator button - unreachable.
I really wanted to see the Grand-neighbor-lady's mother last night. She wasn't feeling very well, and I knew the mere sight of me would cheer her up. So, I decided to visit her @ Lakeside Memorial Hospital in Brockport, NY. The problem was: I had five minutes to complete my mission. That's right. FIVE MINUTES...
I grabbed my new winterized camouflage hat:
a. It looked like the type of headgear a senior might wear -and I needed to look elderly in order to pull my mission off.
b. The camouflage effect allowed me to slither right past the Security guards (aka candy stripers).
Ouch. The elevator button was totally unreachable. Not to worry though, I took the stairs. After all, I'm all about fitness, you know :)
Mission accomplished! Owen K. saves the day and Grand-neighbor-lady's mother is probably still smiling.
FYI: Just in case anyone asks: I did NOT crimp or even get near her oxygen hose.
